Just a wee reminder – if you’re on Universal Credit (UC) and you’ve not updated the DWP with your new rent yet, please log into your account and update the DWP now, to make sure your UC increases in line with your new rent.

The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) are working with the Wheatly Group and Altair to survey people in Scotland who are seeking to be housed or rehoused in social housing, and you can get a £15 voucher if you participate in the research.

Over 30% of our tenants responded to Captain Discount’s Rent Increase Consultation. A huge thank you to the 426 tenants who took part, with 79% of those supporting our proposals.

We will be closed from midday on Friday 22 December 2023 and will reopen at 9am on Wednesday 3 January 2024.
Be prepared for the cold weather whenever it shows up, and make sure that you avoid frozen or burst pipes this winter.
While we don’t own any roads (even if we own all the homes on a street, the roads are still adopted by East Lothian Council), we want to make sure our tenants know what to expect when it comes to winter road maintenance.
If the worst happened and you had a fire, flood or other disaster how would you replace your belongings?
Tax Credits are coming to an end, and if you currently receive Tax Credits, you will shortly receive a letter from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) explaining what you’ll need to do and when to do it.

It’s all change as Charlie Cooley arrives as our new Director of R3 & Asset Management. Charlie replaces Duncan Mackay, who has retired after 14 years.
